Arriving in the historic heart of Mayfair this autumn, the opening represents a convergence of New York’s golden age of hospitality and modern British sophistication. Situated at a world-famous fashion intersection, the property promises to bring a considered sense of residential luxury to the culturally curious.

Opening its doors this autumn, the highly anticipated luxury hotel will occupy a prominent landmark position at the junction of Bond Street and Conduit Street. Situated in the centre of the capital, the property places guests at the very epicentre of London’s finest fashion houses, art destinations and historic auction rooms.

Creativity is also woven into the fabric of the building through a unique partnership with the Sarabande Foundation’s House of Bandits gallery. Established by the late Lee Alexander McQueen, the creative foundation has curated a collection of more than 1,000 original artworks by over 80 creators. Displayed throughout the bedrooms, corridors and public lounges, these specially commissioned pieces will effectively turn the entire luxury hotel into a dynamic, living gallery that celebrates local heritage.

In the words of General Manager Marco Novella, the goal is to create a vibrant cultural hub where global travellers can gather. By blending historic rituals with highly attentive service, the hotel aims to bring an authentic, considered approach back to the modern luxury landscape.

The hotel represents a complete architectural evolution of the building formerly known as The Westbury. Overseen by the acclaimed design studio Richmond International, the extensive renovation has added entirely new storeys to the structure and expanded the public spaces. The finished property will offer 193 guest accommodations, which include a collection of 66 suites alongside a pair of exclusive wellness spaces.

Inside, the design scheme serves as a visual tribute to the neighbourhood. The styling subtly references the bespoke tailoring of nearby Savile Row and the quiet elegance of Bond Street.

For the ultimate luxury experience, the spectacular Penthouse Suite sits atop the building, boasting a 150-square-metre private terrace that offers sweeping, 360-degree views across the capital.

This grand opening marks a modern reinterpretation of the hospitality philosophy first established by John Jacob Astor IV, who founded the original New York hotel at the start of the twentieth century. The London iteration seeks to capture that exact sense of residential elegance. Central to this experience is the famous St. Regis Butler Service. This signature offering ensures that every guest receives deeply personalised and intuitive care, with dedicated hosts anticipating needs throughout each stay.

Culinary enthusiasts will find a major highlight in the arrival of Le Perroquet, an all-day French brasserie led by the renowned Chef Daniel Rose. This opening marks his inaugural project in London, following immense international success at Le Coucou in New York and La Bourse et La Vie in Paris.

By combining the culinary brilliance of Chef Daniel Rose with a massive, locally curated art collection from the Sarabande Foundation, The St. Regis London is positioning itself as far more than just a place to stay. It is a living gallery and a vibrant social centre that genuinely honours the creative legacy of its prestigious neighbourhood. Anchored by the timeless tradition of bespoke butler service, this landmark opening looks certain to redefine the standards of highly attentive, personal luxury within the capital for years to come.
