For this week’s Sunday Series we sat down with Sena Afsar, visual merchandiser and buyer at Mvoice.
MVoice is an Istanbul-based interior design shop that specialises in high-end Italian furniture and bespoke pieces, and have executed projects globally, including London, Dubai, Ibiza, and Monte Carlo.
Our conversation with Afsar follows the growth of the company and their curated roster of new brands, recently adding Gufram and Meritalia, Memphis, and Driade. Afsar highlights Mvoice’s choice to feature younger and more dynamic brands and discusses how smaller pieces can often play a greater role in helping someone to find their individual style.
An interesting point from our conversation was how they combine these pieces with their stock of classic brands such as Missoni, Cavalli, and Etro. Afsar notes how their decision to stock simpler pieces from these well-known brands creates a harmonious showroom that balances the energy of the bolder pieces.
