This week, The Plum Edit team headed to Mayfair to explore Sézane, a brand known for its Parisian elegance and timeless design.
Sézane’s statement pieces undeniably have a cult following and it’s not hard to see why. Sézane’s founder, Morgane Sézalory, explains the ethos behind the brand: “We build wardrobes thoughtfully, focusing on how each piece can be refined over time.” (Vogue) Sézane’s new collection, Sézane in New York, combines the brand’s signature chic Parisian style with the edgy sophistication of New Yorkers’ styling.
As you enter the Mayfair shop, Sézane transports you to a Parisian apartment, filled with trinkets and statement lighting. We headed straight for the new collection, and here are our top picks.

As beautiful as Sézane’s knits are, our favourite part of buying one is getting to pick out a jumper to try on. The shop assistants are impressively knowledgeable about the products. We were shown all the details of Sézane’s signature cardigan, from its reversible design to the intricacies of the knit pattern.
